Donna joined the firm of Romaine Scally and Co Solicitors in 1999. From the outset, Donna showed a strong aptitude and ability in the area of Property Law. Donna worked closely with the Principal, Romaine Scally for the first 8 years after joining the firm, learning the skills and reading the legislation needed for the complex area of Property Law.
Such was Donna’s ability in this area that she gradually developed the Property business of the firm to eventually open the property Department within the firm which she now heads up under the ultimate supervision of the Principal. Donna will be a familiar name to Purchasers, Vendors and Mortgagors the length and breadth of the country as national boundaries are no obstacle to Donna’s appetite for work or limits to her skills. From Donegal to Cork, Donna has a portfolio of happy, satisfied clients who waste no opportunity to recommend her to friends and family, such is her proven track record. Her established professional contacts ensure that no problem is too great to solve and referrals to reliable Architects, Engineers, Local Authority Officials, Auctioneers and Mortgage Brokers are only ever a phone call away.
Donna has weekly meetings with her team to monitor progress, sort out obstacles and ensure that all the team are working to her exacting standards. Repeat business is Donna’s mantra and she prides herself on a huge level of repeat business in addition to an increasing demand for her skills daily by new clients who have heard about her proven ability and long-standing experience.
Donna Louise Phelan
Donna Louise joined the firm in 2007. Since then, Donna Louise has provided skilled support to the Litigation team. There is nothing about Litigation that Donna Louise does not know. She provides up to the minute information to clients of the firm in this area. Clients need not be concerned at Donna Louise’s charming manner as it belies a very tough approach to her work making her skills particularly successful in the demanding and critically important area of litigation.
Donna Louise attended the Law School of Ireland Diploma in Law course for which she was awarded top prizes for both Property Law and Company Law. More recently she has attended at Blackhall Place on the Professional Practice Course and we are delighted to announce that she is our current Trainee Solicitor.
Daniel joined the firm in 2017 and brings with him a wealth of experience particularly in the area of Personal Injury Law and Litigation. Daniel has over 10 years’ experience working in the legal profession and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in February 2016. He has experience in dealing with international companies, commercial clients and private individuals in seeking to assist them in obtaining a favourable outcome either through the Court process or by way of negotiation. He aims to advise clients on the most cost-effective and efficient solutions, whilst having regard to their needs and expectations.
Daniel is a well-known figure around the Four Courts and is known for being extremely efficient in the area Accident Litigation. Daniel also seeks to ensure all staff are updated on current case law and statutes, together with Court trends to ensure that the best and most up to date advice is available to all clients of Romaine Scally and Co Solicitors. From the District Court to the High Court, Daniel ensures his wealth of experience is used for the benefit of all our clients and over the years has been involved in many high-profile cases involving both large and small settlements where each and every client is assured a professional, experienced and confident representation.
Carol joined the firm in 2013 initially as a Receptionist. Carol’s role quickly evolved and she excelled as a Legal Assistant in the Conveyancing Department. She has in recent times taken up the position of Assistant Secretary to Romaine Scally. Carol’s friendly and approachable manner has made her a firm favourite to all of clients and an exceptionally skilled staff member.
Louise joined the firm in 2016 as a Legal Assistant. Louise brings with her over 20 years’ experience in the legal sector with experience in both Plaintiff and Defence Litigation, Medical Negligence, Conveyancing and Probate. Her ability to deal with all clients, to assist with files and to deal with queries in a professional and an efficient manner makes her an exceptional asset to the firm.
Sarah began working for Romaine Scally & Company Solicitors as a member of our support staff in early 2017. Sarah works closely with Donna Farrell in the Conveyancing Department and has quickly become an invaluable member of staff. Sarah is exceptionally well-suited to the fast paced and demanding role of Assistant in the Conveyancing Department.
